Capricorn in Cabo
I celebrated my birthday this past weekend with Brian and a couple of friends down in Los Cabo, Mexico. It was such a blast to relax and take a break from work for a few days. I wanted to use this time to be present and enjoy time bonding with Brian and my friends. We had an amazing time at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, such a beautiful hotel; I can’t wait to go back! We dined at Malibu Farms our first night there, which is in the hotel, and the food, service, and live music was a blast. Drinking skinny spicy margaritas and eating Mexican cuisine; my favorite. The boys went surfing in Todos Santos and were absolutely raving about it all day since they left; Brian cannot wait to go back there! We went to the Nobu Restaurant at the hotel the second night because we knew the food would be amazing. We went marlin fishing on the morning of my birthday and caught a marlin! Brian had been trying to catch a marlin for years, so this was such a fun experience. He kept saying to me, “it’s your birthday; you’re the luck we needed!” So excited to join the “Marlin Club”...a memory that will last a lifetime. The chefs at the restaurant prepared our fresh marlin as sashimi and tacos, YUM! After a busy day, we relaxed at the pool in a cabana listening to music and enjoying each other’s company. For our final dinner in Cabo, we went to El Farallon at the Pedregal…seriously the most amazing views. This is one of my favorite spots in Cabo and what I recommend to anyone going there.
