Lunch at The Waverly

Nestled in Cardiff by The Sea is the new and upcoming restaurant and bar, Waverly. Filled with beautiful artwork, gorgeous design elements, and not to mention delicious food, Waverly is a must stop spot if you are in North County San Diego. I have been dying to stop in here for weeks now and when I saw it was on my way home from a meeting I had no other choice than to go enjoy a wonderful lunch here. I was greeted with the most beautiful design by the sister design duo, Sisters of Design 4 Corners. An Encinitas based group who also designed one of my favorite boutiques, Swirl! The sisters did an amazing job making the space open and airy with muted colors and beautiful furniture pieces. Chef Brian Redzikowski is the man behind the magic here creating a menu that can satisfy just about any craving. I enjoyed the Chick Filet Sandwich, Seared Shrimp, Caesar salad, and Butterscotch Pudding Dessert. The best part? The croutons. Filled with a delicious garlic butter that oozed out I mean I could’ve eaten those alone! I love finding new lunch date spots and this absolutely made my list alongside some of my other favorites including Ironside, Parakeet Cafe, Nolita Hall, and Zinqué. On the way to lunch I stopped in at Swirl Boutique to pick up some new goodies that were too cute not to wear to lunch that day! I always love a day up North getting to check out new spaces. xo, Chantelle
