The Monsaraz Hotel by Hilton
New to the neighborhood, the Monsaraz Hotel by Hilton is such a gem in Point Loma. I first saw it when I was running errands and just had to stop in to see what it was all about. The decor is gorgeous, definitely keeping up with the trends all done by the amazing KNA Design. They did a great job including the feel of Point Loma throughout the hotel. Right off the main lobby is the Westerly; a delicious coffee bar, cocktail bar, and restaurant all in one. With a gorgeous outdoor space to hang out and indulge in some happy hour treats, The Westerly will become a local spot in my rotation. I got the blooming mushroom, and it was my favorite bite that day, reminiscent of the classic blooming onion but with a twist, delicious. I then shared avocado toast and a burger that were both so tasty as well, but that blooming mushroom will have me coming back! The chef is Jesse Paul is responsible for all of these delicious bites. A great restaurant is so important at a hotel because it brings more traction through the space. This hotel has a boutique feel with the decor and kind people that work there. I will be suggesting this as a great place to stay for people that come to visit, it's 5 minutes from downtown and the airport, plus it's close to many of San Diego's attractions. Love having new spots in Point Loma! xo, Chantelle
