Better Days with Julez Bryant

I was so excited when the wonderful Julez Bryant asked me to be a part of her Better Days Collection launch. The collection is all about looking forward to "Better Days," which I think we have all been doing lately. The pieces do a great job telling that story … the bright colors and sun focused pieces. 

I love that Julez creates a story for each of her collections. It brings all of the pieces together. I was lucky enough to visit her gallery and see all of the collection pieces, and they were BEAUTIFUL! The colors in this collection are what caught my eye; The bright hues of the rainbow foreshadow a Better Day. Each piece is so bold and unique but something that can be worn every day and tells that story that Julez is portraying...These pieces are something that you can cherish forever and pass down to future generations. (hint hint Sailor)

I absolutely love this Rainbow Block Ring. It is a statement piece yet still subtle and something that you can wear every day. I also am wearing this Gemstone Charm that is stunning. The colors are bold, and I love the open heart detail on top...last Valentine’s day I got an open heart tattoo on my wrist to symbolize letting in love, friendship, and compassion. When I met with Melissa, Julez’s gallery director, she explained that they chose to use sapphires for the colorful crystals in their pieces because it is the strongest crystal next to the diamond. Along with the usage of diamonds and sapphires, the pieces are made with 14k gold; this makes the pieces last longer and allows people to wear them in salt water, which is great in California. All of Julez’s pieces are hand-forged in Southern California, so you know that the piece you purchase is unique to YOU!

This collection is all about HOPE, LOVE, AND SUNSHINE, all things that help us look forward to a better day. It is so important to look ahead and keep pushing to reach those better days. I decided to do a shoot with these pieces at my home...a place where I have my best days; Swimming in the pool with my kids, cooking dinners with Brian, doing yoga in the garage, and playing Clue with Sailor! I cherish these memories and consider my home to be my little slice of heaven.
